How can I set up the Audio Hardware setup it is not recording now

My AU 3.01 was recording now it is not in both edit mose and multitrack mode I use windows 7 with a laptop, and an Alesis mix board, I only use headphones via the mix board and have no external speakers.

My Microphone is an Audio-Technica plugged into the Alsesis mix board. I only record voice through the Microphone to Adobe Audition for voice overs to introduce a song or back announce a song I just place in a track I do not where I went wrong but I cant seem to get it to record at all songs still load fine mix down too CAN ANYONE HELP?
