How Do I Increase the Duration of a Waveform Without Using Multitrack?

I have a bunch of sounds that I would like to apply a VST reverb to in batch which is totally possible, however the waveforms all cut off right at the end of the sound so there's no space for the reverb tail to trail off. I want to simply extend the duration of all of these waveforms so once I apply the reverb, it will have the appropriate amount of time it needs to hear the reverb tail without getting cut off and then i can add a simple fade to the waveform at the end to ensure any extra reverb is faded away completely. Bringing the sounds into multitrack is a whole extra step and will require me to add the reverb to all of the sounds and export them 1 by 1 instead of just dropping the reverb on all of them and exporting in batch. There's many other instances where this would have come in handy as well, but I simply can't figure out how to extend the duration. Also I've looked online and everyone says to drop it into multicam, but that would just take so much more time. Seems like a pretty standard feature so I'm sure it's there somewhere, right?
