How do I stop double screens appearing when I open Adobe Audition 3

I suddenly started having this problem, too! Every time I open Adobe Audition, it fills my external monitor with a blank, black screen. SO Annoying. And the preference setting was super hard to track down.

You go to Preferences>Video> and UNCHECK the Enable Full Screen option.
