How to change the crest factor of a pink noise?

We can make a pink noise by the software, but the crest factor is about -13dB. Can we make a pink noise which has -6dB crest factor without clipping or DC offset? It is a more often used signal in my daily work.

There is no direct method of changing noise crest factor except by using the intensity control - which isn't really very helpful because it isn't calibrated, and falls short in other ways too, IIRC. Last time I needed to do this, I found a software noise generator that let me control everything, and it was far more satisfactory. And that was years ago, and now I can't find it! It's possible that Sound Spectrum Pro might let you do this, but I haven't tried it.
