How to create a Custom preset for the Parametric Equalizer in Audition 3.0

A custom Parametric EQ preset was recommended to me by someone using CC. The instructions were to use two Parametric EQ settings and save the preset, but my Parametric Equalizer doesn't look the same, so it's frustrating. The first setting is to set the High Shelf to 230Hz and 1.9db, then set the slope on the shallow one, then save. The second setting is to set the High Shelf to 3500Hz and 1.9db, slope on shallow and save. Create a preset name and done! Can anyone give advise on how to achieve that in Audition 3.0?

Thanks,

JG

Like this. I have to say that if you can tell the difference this will make to your audio, I'll be amazed. Rolling 1.9dB off isn't exactly a lot...

Hi Steve, and thank you for responding. This exercise is born out of using my Focusrite 2i2 3rd gen with the AIR button on, which adds a crispness to mids and highs that I like for my voice overs. I found a You Tube piece in which the host shows you how to "emulate" the AIR in post if you didn't use it during recording, but he's using the CC version. Maybe I'm just totally misinterpreting, but here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdBmUZdXDCc if you are able to look at it. Thanks again for responding.
