How to create multitrack with long periods of silence between clips

Hi

I am trying to create an audio file for public safety and guidance messages that can be played on a loop over a PA/Tannoy system.

I have 4 audio clips of messages that need to be on the track and they need to be spaced 10 minutes apart with silence inbetween. The clips are only about 20 seconds long each.

I assume I would use multitrack, which I am trying, and I know how to add the clips and import the clips and position them however I'm unable change the overall duration of the track as I would need it to be 40 minutes long. The overall length is showing as just 50 seconds, how do I make it longer?

If you position them correctly on the timeline the session will increase automatically, up to the point where the last clip ends.

Thanks, that's worked!

I thought that was how you would do it but when I tried to drag the clip to the side of the timeline before it didn't increase but just tried again and now it's worked. Not sure what I was doing wrong for it not to work.
