How to Export Audition Files (menu greyed out)

New to Adobe Audition, not a sound guy. When I try to export my tracks both file and multitrack mixdown are both greyed out. How do I fix this so I can export my tracks? Explain it to me in simplest of terms. I'm new to this and don't know much about audio terminology.

    I've had a careful look at this, and there is one other thing that doesn't seem to be correct in the File menu; there are no Save options showing as available. On that basis alone, I'd say that you are likely to have a corrupted session file. If you close that session and start a new one, do the missing menu items ungrey themselves?

    I can't think what's going on here.

    Can you save the session without an issue?  Is it possible there is a permission problem?

    Try the usual things...restart the computer, reset Audition prefs (hold shift while launching)
