How to find accidentally deleted Multitrack audio

Hello,

I have a podcast and there is a segment that I do on that show that I have saved on Multitrack many times. Today, I find out that the intro or bed audio is missing. The only thing that I did was to use the same intro that I have save on other shows.

Is there a way for me to find audio on Multitrack that I accidentally deleted in Adobe Audition?

If you've actually deleted the audio file, then you won't be able to find it - sort-of follows, really. But if this audio still appears to exist on other multitrack sessions, then you need to find the path to it, and re-link what appears to be missing using the correct path. You have to bear in mind that Multitrack sessions don't actually contain the file, as such - just a link to where it's stored. Multitrack is really just a very posh file player.

So unless you know that you've really deleted the file (which seems a little unlikely...) it's going to be there somewhere, I suspect.
