how to match tempos of different songs

I see that when i hit time display and edit tempo, it says 120 for all the songs even though they are different. So now im trying to just calculate the bpm of each song and when i make a selection in waveform, the duration on the bottom right says 101: 0.00, so even when i make a selection it stays at 0 so i cant figure out the duration to calculate the bpm. Then once I calculate the bpm, I go to the time display, edit tempo and change all the songs to the same tempo i calculated?

    i finally got it to show me the real duration. Now i just cant figure out matching tempos perfectly. for some clips that I already cut, I tried to match the tempos and line the beats up and its not perfect but its close so I would love to be able to do that correctly but if not then im content with where it is.

    Before cutting the next tracks i decided to change the tempo first before cutting the songs at all. I calculated 77.4 for one and then changed the other. nothing happened to the tempo after doing that but when I click every track on the multi track it says 77.4 on the top left. i tried stretching but the tracks are different lengths so that doesnt make sense. not sure what to do next
