How to "Select Previous Clip"?

Hi... I'm trying to find or create a Keyboard Shortcut that will let me Select Previous Clip in Current Track.

I see there is a "Select Next Clip in Current Track." I also see a "Select Previous Track." So...

Please please let there be an option for this or a work-around...

Here is what I need to do. Maybe some other keystroke can help me do what I need:

I make an edit and want to replay what I edited and continue playing. Right now, after I make my edit, the clip is selected and will only play the clip then stop. Hmmm, maybe I just need to "Deselect All" (Comm-D) then hit the spacebar to start my playing... Well, if anyone has any more extensive "power moves" for deselecting AND MOVING the playhead, please let me know... I'll also study my need more in case I've described it badly. I'm doing a LOT of edits and want to move fast, using keystrokes. Right now I need to continuously use my mouse -- bad workflow. Thanks!

I've had a good look, and I can't find one. Perhaps you should put in a request; it seems like a rather strange omission to me, considering that there's one for moving forward.
