Question

How to separate right and left tracks on a file I already edited

So basically I'm a starter at Adobe Audition and edited an entire podcast with the host and the interviewer as a stereo file. I found how to separate it to mono just after I finished the edition, but is there a way to do it on a stero file that I already edited? Or do I need to restart and re-do it from scratch? Any support?

You can open the file in waveform view, and then  place each side on a separate track in a multitrack session, or right click on the file name in Audition's  file panel and select "Extract channels to mono files". extract.png
