How to stop _mixdown from being added to filename on export

Hi, every time I export a session as an audio file from Audition, it adds the suffix "_mixdown".

It there a way to set a preference so that it does not do so?

I would prefer if it created a _Mixdown folder and automatically placed the exported files there.

Suggestions please...

No, there is no way to alter that - it's hard-coded. And Audition doesn't create folders automatically at all - that way lies chaos if you are using it in a professional environment. It is a good discipline to check this information and alter if necessary at this point. So...

Minimum suggestion: In the export properties box, even if you don't change anything else, it's relatively straightforward to knock the _mixdown extension off the end of the title. I regularly do this, because often I need to label a mixdown with different information anyway - so I tend to delete the lot and start again.

OK thanks. I wish it created a Mixdown folder automatically as it does for Recorded or Conformed files used in sessions.

For now, like you, I'll just keep deleting the _mixdown extension (or learn to live with it).
