HUGE ISSUE - Audition crashes after a period of inactivity

Question

There is a huge bug in Audition - often when left for several minutes to several hours with a project open - when I go back to it and click anywhere in it - it instantly switches to another program I have opened on my computer. I can' t do anything - and have to close it down and reopen from scratch.Has anyone come across this weird bug and knows how to fix it?what is going on there??

Since we don't know even whether this is on a Mac or a PC, or the OS, it's rather hard to speculate. I have to say though that I've not experienced anything at all like that happening on a system that I regularly leave in that state for hours on end... so unless this is on a Mac (when I wouldn't know), I don't think it's any sort of Audition bug.

The other reason for not thinking it's an Audition bug is that if it was that bad, then everybody would be complaining about it (like the Markers bug) and they aren't. Which rather points the finger back at your system, I'm afraid...
