I can record an audio file but not in multi-track mode?

Question

I am using a focusrite 2i. I have loaded the new drives and have checked my equipment. When I use audio file everything works fine. When I create a new multi track session it will not record. So the equipment works well. The audio file session is in mono. Any ideas.

To record in Multitrack you first have to do two things; make sure you've got the correct input selected for the track, and then arm the track for recording (click on the R button in the track controls). Only then will it record...
