I can't get Adobe Audition to see my microphone or my TASCAM audio interface. This just started. Prior to this, I've never had any problem. I have a very old TASCAM unit but it still lights up and receives power. I'm at a loss for next steps.

I can't get Adobe Audition to see my microphone or my TASCAM audio interface. This just started. Prior to this, I've never had any problem. I was thinking that a recent Windows 11 update ransacked my settings, but I haven’t been able to verify this.  I have a very old TASCAM unit, but it still lights up and receives power. I'm at a loss for next steps.

I’ve tried 1 of everything. Looking at it from a Windows 11 issue.
Controlling for why the settings are drastically different in Adobe Audition … and controlling for audio interface issues and/or microphone problems. None, after testing and verification have proven to be the culprit. I am exhausted and looking for answers.
