Question

I'm freaking out - no sound after trying to export

Hi everyone.

I made a multitrack session. After trying to export it, I can no longer hear any audio in the original file. My audio is working fine in other apps and I've tried changing the output in the Preferences > Hardware. I can hear everything fine in the waveform editor, just not as a whole multitrack. PLEASE someone help me I'm terrified I've lost all my work.

Also, how can I export a multitrack session as an audio file I can listen to in soundcloud spotify or apple music?

I'm pretty much the same way. I export my work and I don't hear anything anywhere, even though the file is large. The file is created, but there is no sound in any application. What is the cause?

Well he never said what it was, did he? If you've assigned all of your tracks to the Mix or Master output channel, not accidentally put a mute on the channel, and made sure all the faders are up (so you can see the output meters reading) then it should work. Obviously if it's an export, you need to make sure that it's the correct channels and mix that you are exporting - that's in the export controls. Note that any channel routed to a physical output, and not the mix or master, won't be included in your export.

If it still doesn't work after checking all that, then report back.

Do you not understand what 'solved it' means?
