I already own adobe audition but something is wrong and it keeps skipping . how can I fix it or re download it?

Unfortunately versions of Audition older than CS5.5 weren't compatible with the Mac OS. So AA3 won't work for you. Which version have you tried that doesn't work? Only if you had already bought an earlier version of Audition that was registered with Adobe would you even be able to go back to that earlier version.

How do you get it if you bought it because I can't find the answer on you site.

Which version of Audition do you need? If you bought any software from Adobe you should be able to log into your account to check which software you have and re-download it if necessary. If it is an earlier version of Audition CC you can find that from the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app that you should have.
