Ik Multimedia TrackS 5 won't appear on AA CS6 VST Plug-in Manager

Hey guys, I've been looking all around the internet and forums but apparently nobody has this issue, hope someone could help.

I scan for VST or VST3 plugins and AA CS6 detects all of them except for TrackS 5; although the plugin names appear while scanning when the process finishes they don't appear on the list, not even with "not working" warning.

I installed a previous version and works just fine (TrackS CS)

Also tried installing on AA 3 and had the same result.

Please someone help me!

A quick Google search led to http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr5 where the following is listed under Features:

  • 64-bit native support

There is the reason (I think).  AA CS6 and 3 are both 32 bit programs and so can only use 32 bit VSTs.  It would seem your ik Multimedia plugs in are 64 bit.

I don't think that jBridge works that way around. I thought it was only for using old 32 bit VSTs in a 64 bit environment.

Actually it does!  In its latest version at least, the user can specify whether the host is 64 bit OR 32 bit and hence "convert" plug-ins 64>32 or 32>64.

I have it on my system, running AA CS6 and AA CC, and jBridge allows me to run 64 bit plug-ins in CS6 and 32 bit in CC.
