Import a picture (psd or other) to the spectrum in adobe audition

Question

Dear community,Is it possible to import a photo (for example a psd, tiff or other) to the spectrum with adobe audition and create a sound from it? The idea is to use the writings of a letter as a noice for a production.Thanks a lot for every help!

No, I'm afraid not. Audition used to be able to do this, but it was dropped after Audition 3. I think that the reason that it's not been re-introduced is that it's not perceived to be a 'professional' feature as such, but an experimental one, and that wasn't the direction the software was heading in. So if you can get hold of a copy of Audition 3 (not so easy any more) then you can use a bitmap as a means of generating a sound spectrum - but I have to tell you that from my experience with this, it simply wasn't worth it, as the results were effectively meaningless.

Thans for your answer!Thats a pity. I already guessed so.. but I will try erase the certain lines from a white noice instead.. this should make kind of the same effect.Have good holidays and thanks again!
