Importing .wav files

Hey All,

I'm having issues importing .wav files into Audition CC. 

Whever I drag a .wav file over (or try open one) Audition freezes. 

Even if the file size is small, I have to force close the app. 

MP3's import fine. 

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

    My suggestion is that there's something wrong with your wav files. The reason for this is that whenever Audition 'opens' an MP3 file, it has to convert it to wav format anyway - that's Audition's internal working format. So if it manages to create correct files like that, then almost certainly it's the wav files you are trying to open that have the problem.

     

    Can you provide more details, or even an example file?
