Question

Impossible to open a file after a crash

Hello,

I was working on a project that took me several dozen hours. When suddenly Adobe Audition CS6 crashed. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal but when I re-opened the project it said "The file is either corrupt or using an unsupported format"
I am not allowed to "Link a media" (the box is grey).

I tried to restart Adobe Audition while maintaining "Shift" and as administrator. Nothing worked.

All the "Bounced Files", ... are still there in "Adobe/Audition/5.0/THENAMEOFTHEFILE".

All the other .sesx files can be opened but not this one and I really want it to work.

I don't know what to do...

Unfortunately, this sesx is totally trashed - it is filled with null characters.
Hopefully, you have a backup sesx in the 'backup subfolder of the session
