Installing Sound Effects and Loops and Getting Started with Audition

Hi there!

I am completely new to Audition. I will be using Audition coming up to record audio lectures of academic lectures and exporting them to .MP3 format for the web. Can someone point me to some "getting started" videos that explain how to create a recording project in Audition, do some basic editing, and export to .MP3?

Additionally, I am interested in installing some of the loops and sound effects from the Adobe website into Audition for use in Audition. After I download the files, what would I need to do in order to bring them into Audition?

Thanks!

For getting started (assuming you're on CC 2017), I would recommend starting with the in-app tutorials.  You may find them at:

Help > Audition Learn...

For bringing in Sound Effects, just use File > Open like you would to open a text document in MS Word or something like that.

Sounds good. Thanks for the info. For the Sound Effects and Loops, do they get "installed" into Audition, or do I just store them in a folder on my hard drive and "open" them in Audition as needed?

They're just files.  Put them where you prefer.
