Interface lag when playing audio

Hello!
My interface keeps lagging hen I hit play, even though the audio plays normal.
I have 32gb of ram, a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz and 2tb of ssd space, so this isn't because of memory or processing power.
The video below shows whats happenng. I tried reinstalling and it got better for some time but now it's lagging again.
Anyone have ideas on what to do?

I'll second this problem.. audio playback is normal but the UI seems to be lagging, as if the display is set for 60hz but Audition is at 30hz. It usually gets the worst in Edit mode using the spectral display. My specs below:

2020 27in iMac

macOS Big Sur 11.5.1

3.8Ghz 8-Core i7

128GB RAM

Radeon Pro 5700XT 16GB

1TB SSD

Adobe Audition 14.4.0.38

Usually this happens when your video driver needs updating - with Windows this seems to be a regular occurence. It may well be that the same thing happens with Macs - there's no harm in checking, and it is the most likely cause of video stuttering.

Macs don't have independant updates for the video card (from AMD for example).. any driver updates come through the OS system software update, which in my case is up to date. To be clear, this is a general UI glitch we're talking about, as in laggy meters and laggy keyframes.. this is not editing audio to a video clip.
