Is Audition good for creating EDM?

Strictly speaking, Audition isn't music creation software - it's an audio editor. You can do a lot with it from a music creation POV but it has no MIDI. Its focus these days is more towards editing sound for video. So I don't personally think it's a good choice, but it does have a few strengths, especially if you want to work with looping audio. There is a lot it can't do though, and it's unlikely that it will ever be developed along these lines, because it's not a part of Adobe's core business as such, and not enough of the big players appear to want it. And it's them that drive development, not individual users. The Audition core development team would, I think, quite like to do it but their hands are tied from above. But even if they did, they'd be playing catch-up against some well-established players, and this causes all sorts of difficulties, especially for the bean-counters...
