Is it possible to automatically arm a track for recording when it's selected?

Hey guys!

I was just wondering if it is possible to tell Audition to automatically arm the selected track for recording and "de-arm" all other tracks.

This is the way it works in Cubase and since i just started with Audition I was hoping to keep up my workflow.

Thanks for your answers!!

Alex

However there is a keyboard shortcut available to 'Toggle Arm for Record for Selected Track'. It doesn't have a key assigned to it by default but you can easily go into Keyboard Shortcuts and assign one. It will then save you a mouse click or two as long as you use it wisely.

No, I'm afraid that (potentially dangerous) method of working isn't available in Audition. It's more appropriate to music composition-based software, and not really to a flexible multitrack recorder where track arming requirements can vary considerably, depending upon what exactly you're doing with it.
