Is MPEG-4 A Supported File Type for Audition?

I download MPEG-4 audio only files from Zoom recordings, the only format available. Unfortunately my job's approved audio editing software cannot import MPEG-4, only WAV and AIFF. MPEG-4 is not listed as a supported file format:

Find supported import formats for Adobe Audition CC

It's not on thye list but IT wanted me to check to see if there is a workaround for MP4 as it is an encapsulation format. (IT strongly prefers I use Audition over rival software.)

I did not find any posts in this community that specifically answesred this query. Any help or assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

If you scroll down the list further, you'll find that MPEG4 is in the list, as is MPEG1. And it works fine with Zoom files.
