hi

i'm running audition cc 2017 last built on windows 10 pro 64bit

is there a way to add more effects in the batch processing?

i see i can use only 1 favorite for each time

i would like to normalize , equalize and fade in and out

i have a bunch of files and i would love to do it with 1 batch processing and not 4 , one for fade in , the second for equalize , fade out and finaly normalize

can i do all of them with only 1 batch processing?

thanks

The EQ and Normalising you should be able to record together as one sequence into your own custom recorded Favorite since they operate on the whole audio file. However I am not sure that the Fade In and Fade Out can be handled automatically for Batch processing as they need the Play Cursor to be positioned in each file individually to work properly. Automated cursor position recording for use in Favorites is not at all intuitive, if at all possible, in the latest versions of Audition. It may be possible but would need one of the developers to comment on if and how it can be done. There are methods for selecting reference points in custom edited Favorites but at the moment they are a bit trial and error in use.

Versions of Audition up to and including Audition 3 had quite useful scripting commands available, although they were never very well documented. Since the cross platform rewrite of Audition we have never got quite the same versatility in scripting custom sequences for Audition. There have been several feature requests to get something similar reinstated. There is a SDK that can be used for designing ones own plugins but it is not a trivial task to do so.

Yes you can only use one Favorite in the Batch process. But as I said you can apply multiple effects within a single custom Favorite as long as they don't involve placement of the cursor within a file. But you do have to record all the effects with their settings into a custom Favorite yourself. See Audition Help/Favorites.

How to automate common tasks for Adobe Audition CC

Having just actually reacquainted myself with the Editing of Favorites I find that it is possible to add both Fade In and Fade Out to a list of several actions within one Favorite. But it does require some editing of the commands within a recorded Favorite to make it work with a fixed length of fade at the start and end instead of where you have manually selected. You can, in effect, copy and paste commands from your own Favorites list to make a custom multiple command Favorite of your own in Favorites/Edit Favorites However you do have to have started by recording a new Favorite before you can edit it to make a complex one.
