Is there any way to Lock a Workspace?

Hi.  I run a college radio station, and people are frequently changing the layout and look of Adobe Audition. While I'm fine with this, I want to be able to go back to what should be a default layout for our station.  So, I set up the layout the way it should be and saved the workspace with an obvious name.  Is there any way to LOCK the Workspace so that even though people may alter the view, they cannot SAVE it?

For background, while we have many users, it is inconvenient to have each person login under their own Creative Cloud account, so we simply have CC logged in under ONE email and do not log out.  We want uniformity, especially for training purposes.

Are these Workspaces saved in Windows somewhere or on the cloud where they can be set to Read-Only status once I set them?

Any tips or help appreicated!

C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\23.0\Workspace\ is where they live. I think that what you do is find the individual file you are using and write-protect it. Your difficulty is that since Audition only works properly with an admin user, anybody can come along and reset it again. Now, you should be able to get around this using a user policy, but I'm afraid that's beyond what we can advise on. I would have thought that there's a good chance that your college computer dept should be able to help with this.

It's frustrating that this is a feature in Photoshop but not Audition. It would be nice if Adobe made this function standard across all CC products.

Adobe has never been very good at that!
