ive always been able to run autotune in real time without any latency while recording. now all of a sudden i cannot record with it in real time. theres always some sort of delay in the vocals. ive tried adjusting the buffer size...from 60-2048. usually putting it at 256 would keep everything steady. im using the asio driver. i also tried the mme which made everything sound even worse. any idea whats going on? i have a fast computer so cpu shldnt be an issue..also ive ALWAYS been able yo record with no problem, this just randomly started happening.

"ive ALWAYS been able yo record with no problem, this just randomly started happening"

For these sort of things the first question I would ask would be 'what has changed?' and the answer invariably comes back as 'nothing'.

But computers being computers and software being the way it is they will do the same thing forever unless something changes. So have a think about what may have changed eg an OS update, an Audition update, Ant-Virus update, etc

A hardware change or new software application installed?

Perhaps resources are being consumed in the background that previously were not.

Unfortunately, you will need to do a bit more digging at your end to see if you can eliminate some of the above
