Hi,

I need a copy of Audition that will run reliably on Win XP Pro SP3. Does anyone know which version of Audition that would be, and where I can download a demo copy of it?

Regards,

Rob

    UPDATE:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html

Click Adobe Audition CS6.  Click link File 1 of 1

Even though it gave me a number of options to either buy or register, I decided to run a trial version for 30 days.  It installed and is running fine on my 64-bit Windows XP.  Should be OK on 32-bit.

Adobe Audition 7 was released in June 2014 with the name Adobe Audition CC 2014.  Where can I find the link to download?  Will that still install on XP?

Anything from the Creative Cloud (CC) requires you to have an Audition Creative Cloud subscription. Once you do then you can download and install any full release versions of the software, even if you have the latest one installed.

There seems to be a Catch 22 situation.

My plan at the moment is: Creative Cloud Free membership.

It states I have access to free trials of all products, limited access to services, and 2 GB of cloud storage.

I cannot find the link to trial the version of Adobe Audition 7 (Audition CC 2014)

The only Audition I can find to trial is:

    https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/audition?promoid=KSPDH

This is Adobe Audition CC 2017.  I could choose the $30 / month plan, but this contradicts the trial process.

Do you have a link to trial Audition CC 2014 please?  Even an FTP site?

Assuming you not running the 64 bit version of XP Pro, the only version of AA that you can run is CS6.

I think there is, somewhere, a page where it is possible to download it but, hopefully, others with greater knowledge of the layout of the Adobe site will be able to point you in the right direction.

Also if you have previously bought and used an earlier version of Audition and are an Adobe Audition registered user you may be able to get hold of a copy of Audition 3 which will certainly run on Win XP.

I haven't tested this but this old download site just might work for you to grab a trial copy of Audition CS6 for Windows:
