Level/Volume does not save in Mixdown mode

Ok, so I tried to contact Adobe, because my problem seems to be something odd.  This was after I've come here a few different times with the same problem.

I'll try again, to see if anybody has had this problem.  In the multi track mode, I can, of course, adjust the levels of each channel.  But, when I do "Mixdown Session to New File", when I increase the level of the whole mix, it doesn't save that way, it seems to save only what was in the Multi Track mode.  It shows that the volume is up where it needs to be, it just doesn't save it that way.  Any other changes seem to be saved - deleting excess at the beginning of the track, fade out at the end, just the volume doesn't save.   I've tried saving in Save As, AND Export.  Either way, if I increase the volume in the Mixdown mode, it doesn't save.  The only way to increase the volume of the whole mix is to go back to the Multi Track mode and increase each channel individually.
