Question

Levels in Editor never matches the version in Multitrack

Editing a podcast, and I put in all the effort to get the tracks correct for levels, compression, etc in Track Editor. Then I go to the Multitrack view, and the levels are lower than in the tracks, and the sound doesn't even match. How is that a thing? But it happens all the time, so I assume there's something I'm missing? Thanks for guidance, as nothing in the Help or Forums I can find about it. (Fwiw, currently working in CC2018.)

It may be worth to look at this post about 5.1 audio on Raspberry Pi. Anything uncompressed like Steve mentions - wav or flac - should work well.

I don't think you looked very hard... 😉 A search for 'levels in multitrack' would have netted you loads of results. Here's one to be going on with: Audio levels going back and forth between Multitrack and Waveform
