Loud clicks from cassette recorder

After capturing audio of a person talking from cassette, there are many loud clicks everytime they switched the recorder on and off, which they did often. There are too many to do each one manually. How can we reduce those levels without messing with the voice?

Thanks.

Correct answer Rag and Bone

Experiment with Click/Pop Eliminator and Sound Remover in Effect>Noise Reduction/Restoration.

You may have trouble fixing the issue without altering the sound of the desired signal, so manual removal might be necessary in some cases.
