Mac OS Monterey issues with Adobe Audition 22

Adobe Audition 2022 build 22.2.0.61 multitrack session was fine until i upgraded to Monterey OS.

I use a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 2nd generation interface.

Latency issue when overdubbing a track. I sound in time with click track, but playback reveals I am way ahead or behind click. Changing Sample Rates and Buffer Size makes playback behind or ahead.

Help, please?
