Mac pinch zoom won't work in Audition

Question

Pinch and zoom has stopped working on my trackpad in Audition (I'm on a Mac). I've had this problem on my work computer before and tried resetting the preferences as I was told:

Clean media: delete media cache and media cache files folders in library/application support/adobe/
Reset preferences by going to library/application support/adobe/ and renaming the Audition folder as Audition.old. Do the same in library/preferences/adobe/ and again in Documents folder.

One problem: there's no Audition folder in library/application support/adobe/

I've uninstalled the program multiple times, restarted my computer multiple times, and also made sure everything is up-to-date.

Any ideas?

There's a good chance that you will have to unhide the Audition folder in the library/application support/adobe path, which is almost certainly why it's not showing. Or if that's not the case, then uninstall Audition again, but use the CCCleaner app first before re-installing. If that doesn't work then we will need a Mac user to tell us how to do it!
