Mac Plugin File

Can someone please tell me how I can find the XML file to delete to reset Audition's plug-in library. I messed something up on the initial scan of a new user account, and now the VST versions of my Waves plug-ins aren't showing up. Just want to reset it. Thank you.

If you open Audition with the Shift key held down this should reset all Audition's preferences. But if you don't want to lose other settings then, yes, you will have to find the Audition settings folder. If you are using one of the latest versions CC2017 or 2018 you should be able to find the settings folder by going to the Audition Help menu and clicking on 'Reveal log files'. This should take you into the log File folder within the Settings folder. So you will just need to go back up one folder level to find all the other settings folders and files including the Audio Plugin Manager Settings .xml file.
