Making a CD with tracks

Hello,
I am very new to Audition.   I am making a voice track for a word book.

I have 38 topics with various words.
For example:  The Alphabet - then it has 26 clips

                       The weather -  8 clips (8 words)

                       The family

and so on...

I want to make 38 tracks - for the CD - with each track - with pause for each word.  So that the CD won't have too many

Is it possible to make the 38 tracks - but each word for each topic will have pauses. So the teachers can pause / go back / go to the next word

I don't want to make all words a clip, and each clip a track would mean hundred of tracks...

Please help me.

Thank you.

See this FAQ. Although several years old it still applies to current versions of Audition.

It wouldn't mean hundreds of tracks, because the CD format only supports a maximum of 99. Also, each track has to be a minimum of four seconds long. You can't get around either of these; they are built into the specification.

There is, within the specification, a means of adding up to 100 index points per track. That's the good news; the bad news is that there's hardly a player around (apart from some professional ones) that will let you access the index points. Last time I put index points on a commercial CD, I got told off by the pressing plant!

So whatever you do, it has to be within these specifications, I'm afraid.

Thank you.  But the Audition CC I am using does not have the Show cue list on the View...
It also does not have Snapping ^ snap to frames always...

This still makes it difficult for me to understand.

I want to limit the number of tracks... cause as of now, the clips are each word - and I cannot afford to make each word /each clip a track...that would be too many tracks...

I want to make one topic - one track but with sub-tracks - so I can pause each word or go back.

I want to make 38 tracks only... with all the corresponding words under each track or title.
