Mic can't pick up the sound of my voice

Question

I have 2 microphones connected via usb input to my laptop (installed ASIO software to pair). When I record there is still no sound even though I have ensured that the stereo input is to the correct mic. I noticed this as there were no soundwaves showing.

For a start, I think you should try again, only using the mono input options on the tracks, which would be the correct ones. So [01M], etc. Your mics are, after all, inherently mono!
