Mic Interference

Hi:

I am new to Adobe Audition. I am trying to record audio from YouTube and there is an echo in the audio that I am sure is coming from the mic. Is there a way to use the program without the microphone? Thanks.

    Audition only records what is sent to it via your operating systems audio drivers. So you will have to check how the Sound is set up in the computers Audio device and make sure that the mic is turned off there. It may be that you are recording 'What you hear' which may have a mixer which includes the mic as well as whatever audio is coming from software playback.
