Mixdown Effects Going Missing
Hi there,
I consider myself a intermediate user of Adobe Audition CC, so the fact I'm having this problem is really frustrating. I know I've been able to do this sort of thing with no problems before.
I'm trying to do the simple task of applying a few effects from the rack to a track in multitrack mode, mixing it down, and using the new track as part of another multitrack project. I've been able to mix down the file, and I know that the effects have been applied because I can play the file outside of Adobe Audition in iTunes and hear the effects there. However, when I import that same file into my multitrack project, all that shows up is the file without effects applied! What's Happening Here???
I've tried mixing down to different file names and Sample types, but this doesn't help. The strange thing is that when I import the new mixed-down file into the multi-track session that I mixed it down from (on a new track without any effects), the effects are there. But when I move the same file into the multitrack project that I want the file in, or even a new multitrack, the effects disappear.
Any help would be much appreciated!
