Mixdown Entire Session Not Working

I have been using Adobe Audition CS6 for years and just a few days ago a new problem developed. I go to Multitrack and them Mixdown session To New File then Entire Session and what used to take 5 min now takes hours and it only mixes down a single track. I can't clip the beginnings and ends of songs any more or add effects or make the mix louder. Basically, the program is useless to me right now. The mix I'm doing right now is way less complex than some of the other mixes I've done. I need help A.S.A.P.!

    I got so frustrated I uninstalled the program and tried to reinstall it and now it says Installer failed to initialize. Can you help me fix this problem?
