Mixdown woes (code 0000000B)

Greetings all,

One of my sessions won't bounce ("multitrack mixdown"); I always get "severe error code 0000000B".

Other sessions work fine; it seems to just be this one.

I've tried mixing down both the whole thing and a time selection. (I'll put a list of other things I've tried below, along with my computer deets.)

I've looked around and see that others have gotten this error too, but not, that I can see, while bouncing; and whatever it was was apparently fixed in an update.

Any ideas would be welcome

I've tried:

-saving the whole session as; both in the same location and on a separate hard drive

-changing the session file name

-deleting the backup files

-checked the permissions for all files in the session folder

-unchecking every box in the "essential sound" dialogue

-tried various configurations of formatting in the multitrack mixdown dialogue (audio formats, bitrates, etc)

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013); OS 10.14.5
