Mixing audio from music promos together using effects

Hi

Apologies for the post if asked before.  Ive googled this for a while but am finding it hard to find an answer.  

Audition is a new venture for me.  Im a Prem Pro editor After effects designer whos entering into the world of audicton for a comp im doing.  Im mixing together a load of music videos, 30 seconds each, and i want to use audio effects transistion between them, like echos, repeats, record scratches, record stop sounds instead of your normal cross fade.  

Anyone got any tips or tutorials on how i can achieve this in Audition.
