Mixing in Adobe Audition 2024

Hello!
I am looking for an answer to the following question:

I have a music track, I don't like the middle part, I would like to cut it out, and connect the beginning and the end of the track with a smooth mix.

The volume of the first part of the track gradually decreases, and at the same time, the volume of the last part of the track gradually increases. Like DJs at a nonstop performance.

Can this be done using Adobe Audition 2024?

What VST plugins are there that can accomplish this task?

I am using Adobe Audition 2024. 24.00.46. Windows 10 x 64
