Moving Automation Keyframes When Inserting/Deleting Time

I must be doing something wrong. With "Adjust track keyframes when performing ripple edits" selected, I can Insert Silence, and all the automation keyframes will be moved accordingly. Great. But when I instead do a Ripple Delete >Time Selection In All Tracks, the keyframes are not moved accordingly. Is this by design or is there a flaw somewhere? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Yeah, that makes since from a behind-the-scenes perspective. But not so much from a usage point of view. I hope this is something they'l address in the future. It's something I use all the time in my work, and it's very labor-intensive (and imprecise) to manually drag these things around all the time. Can I really be the only one that ripple deletes time across all tracks and uses automation in busses?

Look, I made a formal feature request out of this and would appreciate a vote on it!

Which version of Audition are you running? I have just tried it on my Win7 PC with v.11.1.1.3 and it works OK as you would expect. Does it do the same using the other Ripple Delete modes?

This is Win10 PC, v.11.1.1.3. Here's what it looks like. First I Insert Time (and then undo and redo a couple times), then I go and Ripple Delete a bit (and then undo and redo again.) You can see that the keyframes stay put when deleting, but move when inserting: 20180712 125005 - YouTube

Ah. That's a bit different. You are talking about the automation keyframes on a Bus not a normal Track. Ripple Delete Time Selection Across All Tracks actually Deletes audio from the clips in the Tracks and shifts up the contents. How this is intended to work with a Bus is debatable, although I can see the sense in it also removing time in a Bus track.

I think that I would put this down to 'as designed' at the moment. However a Feature Request for the future probably wouldn't go amiss.
