Multiband Compressor Worked Partially

I have recorded a Skype video, and one of the speakers talked at a very low volume. I ran the Multiband Compressor in Adobe Audition on the audio, with the preset of "Broadcast" chosen, and was impressed that it brought up the volume and somewhat "Normalized" the audio. But I really need to go through and raise the levels in every area where the one speaker is speaking. The wave form looks like this for the audio:

See wave form here

So it is very obvious which sections need the volume increased. I have to do this many times over a very long audio track.

Is there some way to do this fast, highlight the areas all at once? Perhaps do the opposite, and bring down the audio that's too loud, by somehow cleverly highlighting is all and lowering it? Then later bringing the volume up on all of it?

I hope I have at least explained it well enough to be able to get some help.

Or is there more I should have done with the multiband compressor? I played around a lot with the numbers while previewing the audio file, but nothing really was that much better than the standard preset of "Broadcast".

Help!

You could try the Speech Volume Leveler effect from the Amplitude and Compression effects menu on the whole recording.
