Multiple functions just won't work

Question

After an update everything basically stopped. Mouse scroll options, and all scrollers, won't work or just decrease by themselves. Zoom bar also just goes left when zoomed. Can't change any number indicators, or apply effects. Have restarted and downgraded a couple of times but nothing helps. System is Win 10. Any idea what the problem is?

One option is to try starting Audition with the shift key held down. This would reset all the preferences to a vanilla state, but would at least remove that as a potential issue. From your description, the other obvious thing is that if it's just scrolling and zooming issues, you might have a faulty mouse or mouse driver.
