Multiple selection with Brush tool not possible

With my Adobe Adition CS6 Version 5.02 Build 7 it is not possible to mark multiple frequency regions with the brush tool.

Normally "Shift and left mouse klick" should work. What is wrong with my understanding?

Second Problem.

This is the german Version but the noise reduction frequency under the favorites menue is still 60 Hz.

The german frequency is 50 Hz. Is there any option I have to correct?

Thanks for any help.

I don't think you can select multiple frequency regions; you have to select and work on one at a time.  (I've just checked this in CS6 and can find no way to select more than one region at a time.

Why not simply create/record a new favorite to operate at 50Hz?

Unfortunately the multiple area selection for the Lasso or Brush tools didn't appear until a later CC build of Audition.
