Multitrack Crossfade problem

Using 2018 for the first time. Windows 10

If I have two overlapping clips in the multitrack view I can select the incoming clip and drag the edit point to alter the crossfade length, the same as previous versions.

If I select the out going clip it does not give me the option to drag the edit point, there is plenty of 'handle'

Am I missing something in this new version?

Yes you maybe. CC 2018 does now have the option in Preferences/Multitrack Clips to 'Bring clips to front when selecting them'. Make sure that is turned on and I think it may get round the problem for you.

No, I don't think you are; I've just checked this on my PC and see exactly the same behaviour.  It's easy to move the overlap handle on the second file; the same handle never appears on the first file.

I think, if others can confirm this behaviour, it should be reported to Adobe as another bug in the latest release.
