If I have a very long interview which I want to cut, and all of the clip is parted up to pieces, but I want something to insert somewhere around the beginning (or in the middle) how could I shift the rest of the pieces forwards?

Edit>Insert>Silence, and put in a bit more than you need. When you've got it right, anything excessive can be removed using Ripple Delete.

Thank You SteveG! What I was looking for concerning this specific question I found at under "Edit->Select>Clips to End of Selected Track", but before that another thing that I couldn't fint was the silence insertion what You just mentioned

Moving all the clips is fine, as long as you don't have any automation on the track, as that (unfortunately) won't shift with it. If you really don't want anything else to alter, it's a lot safer to insert some time into the session as a whole.
